Montreal is set to buzz with excitement this weekend as it gears up to host an international cycling competition, giving residents a taste of upcoming road closures and detours.
The UCI Montreal 2026 Road World Championships will lead to the complete closure of several major streets, including the west side of Park Avenue, Pine Avenue, Mont-Royal Avenue, and Côte-Sainte-Catherine Road. These closures will be in effect until October 4, with some streets reopening on September 30.
