A serious car crash in Saint-Rémi has left a driver in critical condition, according to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon along Route 221, near the intersection with Rang Sainte-Thérèse. Details about the collision between the two vehicles are still under investigation.
One of the drivers sustained severe injuries, while the other suffered minor injuries. Laurie Avoine, spokesperson for SQ, expressed concerns for the critically injured driver’s life. Investigators were set to arrive at the scene to conduct a thorough analysis.
As a result of the crash, Route 221 was temporarily closed to traffic, causing disruptions in the area.
