Toronto authorities have reported that an 18-year-old individual and three 16-year-olds are currently facing a series of charges related to firearms possession. The incident unfolded early Monday morning in the vicinity of Finch Avenue West and Yorkgate Boulevard, near the intersection of Jane and Finch.
According to the police, the 18-year-old was behind the wheel of a vehicle when officers stopped them for a violation under the Highway Traffic Act. Subsequent investigations revealed that the suspects were in possession of both burglary tools and a loaded firearm.
Kwabena Ameyaw, 18, has been taken into custody and charged in connection with the incident. Additionally, three Toronto youths aged 16 have also been arrested and are facing similar charges.
