A protest against artificial intelligence turned violent in Montreal near the All In conference, with one arrest made. The demonstration, organized by the group Résistance Montréal to highlight the dangers of AI, took place on Jeanne-Mance Street. Initially peaceful, tensions rose as some protesters clashed with the police, leading to an altercation. A 19-year-old man was arrested for armed assault after allegedly throwing an object at a police officer. Chants and slogans against the police were voiced, and a vehicle was reported damaged. Despite the altercation, no further arrests were reported.
