Montreal authorities suspect arson in a vehicle fire incident that occurred in the LaSalle borough during the early hours of Friday morning.
According to reports, emergency services responded to the scene at 1 a.m. after receiving information about a vehicle ablaze in a driveway on Leclerc Street, close to Miller Street. Upon arrival, law enforcement observed the vehicle fully consumed by flames, although prompt action from Montreal Fire Department personnel successfully controlled the fire.
A subsequent examination of the area revealed evidence of an accelerant, hinting at a potential deliberate act. Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident, but the building suffered minor damages.
The burnt vehicle was later removed for further investigation, and authorities are actively pursuing leads to determine the cause behind the suspected arson attack.
