“Serial Thief Strikes Mississauga: Over 40 Vehicles Broken Into By Lone Woman”

Peel Region Police Seek Alleged Suspect in 40+ Vehicle Break-Ins in Mississauga

Authorities in Peel Region are on the lookout for a 33-year-old woman believed to be involved in a series of over 40 vehicle break-ins in Mississauga earlier this month.

According to investigators, the incidents occurred during the early hours of Sept. 3 and Sept. 6, where vehicles were reportedly targeted by either smashing windows or exploiting unlocked doors. Although no vehicles were stolen, valuables were reported missing from the affected vehicles.

The search is currently focused on locating Andrea Cederberg, whose address is unknown. Cederberg is facing multiple charges, including 23 counts of attempting to commit an indictable offense, nine counts each of mischief over $5,000 and theft under $5,000, and one count of theft over $5,000.

The ongoing investigation is related to the recent apprehension of 34-year-old Cody Lowden, who is also facing numerous charges linked to similar vehicle break-ins in the region.

Additionally, detectives are exploring potential connections between the Mississauga incidents and other reported crimes in areas including Halton, Toronto, York, and Waterloo Region.
