Durham Regional Police are currently looking into the sudden passing of a woman who sustained injuries in Whitby, Ontario, on Sunday evening.
Authorities were alerted to an “unknown trouble call” in the vicinity of Brock Street North and Star Avenue at approximately 7:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman with injuries, and sadly, she was declared deceased shortly thereafter, as per official statements.
Law enforcement emphasizes that the events surrounding this tragic occurrence are being actively investigated.
