In just two weeks, Toronto residents will start casting their votes to choose the city’s next mayor. Tonight, on CityNews and CityNews 24/7 at 7 p.m., three prominent candidates – Chris Alexander, Brad Bradford, and incumbent Olivia Chow – will face off in a highly anticipated debate.

As election day approaches, voters will soon receive their voting cards in the mail. Early voting for the Toronto municipal election will take place from Tuesday, Oct. 6 to Sunday, Oct. 11, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. On election day, Oct. 26, polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to the latest poll conducted by Liaison Strategies, Chow currently holds a seven-point lead over Bradford among decided and leaning voters, although the gap between them is narrowing.
