The investigation regarding the alleged police misconduct in relation to the death of Myles Gray will pick up again on September 28 and will continue in the upcoming months.
The Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner (OPCC) will conduct the hearings at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Robson Square located at 800 Robson Street in downtown Vancouver.
The sessions will commence promptly at 9:30 a.m. on the specified dates:
The OPCC has mentioned that there may be additional hearing dates added to accommodate requests from the involved members to reference their prior statements from the coroner’s inquest.
In case of any modifications to the scheduled dates and times, updates will be posted on the OPCC website.
Due to limited seating availability, access will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Moreover, the proceedings will be live-streamed on the OPCC website for those unable to attend in person.
The OPCC will refrain from making any comments during the ongoing public hearing.
