Authorities in Toronto are currently looking into a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a 34-year-old man in a motorcycle accident during the early hours of Sunday.
The incident took place in the Parkdale neighborhood, close to the intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard and British Columbia Road, where emergency responders were dispatched before 5:30 a.m. following reports of a solo motorcycle crash.
According to reports, the man lost control of his motorcycle, collided with a pole, and was thrown from the bike. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at the accident site.
While investigations are ongoing, initial findings point to excessive speed as a potential contributing factor to the crash.
