Initially elected as a Conservative in 2024, Boultbee’s political journey saw her leave the party due to ideological differences, becoming an Independent before aligning with the New Democrats in July. While her move bolstered the NDP caucus and provided Premier David Eby with a stronger majority, it also faced criticism from her constituents.
