A father in West Vancouver is speaking out about his harrowing experience at a local shopping mall, where he was stalked, threatened, and violently attacked in front of bystanders. Kuang Shen and his family were at Park Royal Mall when a stranger made terrifying threats towards him, leading to a brutal assault in broad daylight. Shen was repeatedly punched and kicked, sustaining injuries to his face, neck, hands, and hip. The traumatic incident has left him unable to eat solid food.
Despite the arrests made by the West Vancouver Police, Shen feels that the quick release of the suspect is a failure of the justice system, and he plans to pursue further charges. He emphasizes the impact on public safety and expresses concerns about the lack of security for law-abiding citizens. Shen’s children, though not present during the attack, have been deeply affected by the incident, showing signs of trauma and fear.
