“Gunfire Erupts in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension: Police on High Alert”

Authorities in Montreal are currently looking into an incident involving gunshots that were heard on Thursday night in a residential part of the vibrant Villeray neighborhood.

Residents made emergency calls to 911 at around 8:30 p.m. reporting the sound of gunfire in the vicinity of Léo-Bricault Alley, close to Saint-Léonard Alley.

Upon reaching the scene, police officers discovered shell casings on the ground, but fortunately, no individuals were harmed or found injured.

Initial reports suggest that a suspect fired shots at a vehicle carrying two young men, aged 19 and 21. Luckily, both individuals escaped unscathed.

The Montreal police are actively investigating the incident to gather more information and bring clarity to the situation.
