The Mission RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who tragically lost his life in a train accident back in July. The incident occurred south of Lougheed Highway, near the junction of Highway 11 in Mission, sometime before 7:30 a.m. on July 11.
Unfortunately, despite exhaustive efforts by the police and BC Coroners Service, the man remains unidentified. A sketch of the man, described as around 160 centimeters (5’3”) tall with a slim build, has been released in the hopes of someone recognizing him.
If you have any information that could lead to the identification of this individual, please contact the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161, mentioning file 2026-9077.
The RCMP emphasizes the importance of not crossing train tracks at unauthorized points to prevent such tragic incidents from occurring.
