“Montreal in Shock: Two Police Officers Suspended Over Alleged Abuse of Homeless”

Montreal police have taken action against two officers for separate incidents involving misconduct towards homeless individuals. In one incident, an officer is accused of urinating on a homeless man, while in another, an officer allegedly took humiliating photos of a suspect.

These incidents, which took place at Police Station 21, were reported by fellow officers at the station. The first officer, who has limited experience with the SPVM, allegedly urinated on a homeless person on a public road while on duty but has not been charged.

In the second incident, another officer was suspended for reportedly taking photos of a suspect in a humiliating position and making fun of the individual. This officer also has not faced any charges related to the incident.

Investigations are currently ongoing into both cases to ensure accountability and uphold the integrity of the police force.
