Tragedy struck in Brampton on Monday morning as a woman lost her life in a collision with a pickup truck, according to Peel police.
The incident occurred around 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Airport Road and Countryside Road. Emergency teams rushed to the scene and promptly transferred the woman to the hospital, where she was sadly declared deceased. Her age remains undisclosed at this time.
Authorities have confirmed that the driver of the pickup truck stayed at the site following the accident.
