Authorities in York Region seek two individuals in connection with a recent shooting incident that took place outside a residence in Markham.
The incident unfolded near the intersection of 14 Avenue and McCowan Road shortly before 5:30 p.m. on August 14, prompting law enforcement response. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man injured by a gunshot outside his residence. The victim was promptly transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting was a targeted attack. The suspects, described as two men dressed in grey hooded sweaters and black track pants, are being actively pursued by law enforcement.
