Peel Region Authorities Seek Suspect in Racially Motivated Attack at Mississauga Tim Hortons
Peel Region law enforcement officials are on the lookout for an individual linked to a hate-driven assault in Mississauga.
According to reports, an irate individual confronted a staff member at the Tim Hortons situated on Lakeshore Road and Lakefront Prominade around 6 a.m. on July 19.
The situation escalated as the customer hurled racial slurs, derogatory remarks, and even spat at the employee before departing, as per a police statement. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any lasting physical harm.
The suspect is described as a white male with a robust build, last spotted sporting a dark baseball cap paired with an orange or red shirt featuring white lettering reminiscent of “Coca-Cola,” dark trousers, and light-colored footwear. He fled the scene in a white four-door Ford commercial truck equipped with a black dump chassis.
