The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility announced a complete closure of Highway 25, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel, overnight during the week of August 25.
These obstructions are required in particular to relocate exit No. 3 (Notre-Dame Street, Hochelaga Street) of Highway 25 toward Montreal in order to continue the slab reconstruction work. In the tunnel, interventions related to the tunnel’s electrical and communication systems as well as maintenance and cleaning work are planned.
As of August 30, users who want to take exit 3 (Notre-Dame Street, Hochelaga Street) will have to keep right on Highway 25 toward Montreal before the tunnel. The exit will be located closer to the tube exit and lane changes will be prohibited.
