A 19-year-old man known to police suffered serious upper-body injuries in a stabbing Tuesday evening in Brossard, Montérégie.
According to François Boucher, spokesperson for Longueuil Police (SPAL), the altercation took place around 7:15 p.m. at Plaisance Park. Those present at the time of the attack were reportedly incapacitated by gas.
The young man was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The suspects fled the scene and are still being sought by police. The SPAL encourages anyone with information to contact them.
