Surrey Police Launch Manhunt for Sex Assault Suspect: Urgent Call for Public’s Help to Identify Culprit

Surrey Police seek public assistance after a woman was sexually assaulted on her way to a bus stop. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning as the victim was walking towards the stop on King George Boulevard near 98 Avenue. A man approached her, requesting to use her phone. After she refused, he forcibly pushed her into a nearby bush and committed the assault. Fortunately, the victim managed to fight off the suspect, who then fled in a northbound direction, leaving her with minor injuries. Sergeant Tige Pollock emphasized the urgency of the situation and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Authorities have shared images of the suspect, describing him as a tall, slender individual with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, maroon shorts, and black and white shoes.
