Vancouver Coastal Health has alerted the public about a potential Hepatitis A exposure linked to the Sea Monkey Coffee food truck in Gibsons. Individuals who consumed food from the truck from August 1 to 25 should be vigilant for symptoms, which may appear anywhere from two to seven weeks post-exposure. These symptoms may include fatigue, decreased appetite, stomach discomfort, and potentially jaundice, identifiable by yellowing of the skin and eyes. Vancouver Coastal Health strongly recommends that individuals experiencing these symptoms seek immediate medical assistance.
