Despite the sunny skies and scorching heat of the summer, the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) Fair in Vancouver saw a slight decrease in attendance this year compared to the previous year.
The 115th edition of the fair attracted over 612,000 visitors, revealing a drop of approximately 25,000 attendees from the previous year’s numbers.
While economic uncertainties may have played a role, the 2025 PNE Fair still holds the title of British Columbia’s largest ticketed event.
Visitors had a fantastic time enjoying various attractions, with a standout performance by Rainbow Kitten Surprise closing the 2025 Summer Night Concerts series at the Pacific Coliseum on Monday night.
Shelley Frost, the CEO and President of PNE, has exciting plans for next year’s fair season, promising shows at the new Freedom Mobile Arch amphitheatre scheduled to open in the summer of 2026.
Before the next season kicks off, the PNE will announce the lucky winner of the fair’s grand prize home lottery, valued at an impressive $2.5 million, during a live drawing at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8.
