A truck driver involved in a tragic crash in Quebec that claimed the lives of a young boy and a woman in 2022 has been apprehended and brought back to Canada after being arrested in the United States.
Baljeet Singh, 28, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals on August 21 following a series of extradition proceedings and subsequently returned to Canada on Wednesday, as confirmed by Quebec provincial police.
The devastating collision took place on July 22, 2022, on Highway 30 in Brossard, Quebec, resulting in the fatalities of an 11-year-old boy and a 42-year-old woman.
