Ensemble Montréal Ignites Race for City Hall with Dynamic Election Campaign Launch!

Ensemble Montréal Unveils Bold Vision for Montreal’s Future Ahead of Municipal Elections

In a vibrant launch event on Sunday, Ensemble Montréal set the stage for the upcoming November municipal elections with their ambitious campaign.

Spearheading the movement is party leader and mayoral candidate, Soraya Martinez Ferrada, who stood alongside nearly 70 dedicated candidates in the Ville-Marie borough this morning.

Martinez Ferrada outlined a promising agenda focused on revitalizing Montreal through social, cultural, and economic development, with a commitment to restoring the city’s metropolis status.

To achieve this transformative vision, Ensemble Montréal has identified six key priorities: addressing the housing crisis, optimizing traffic flow for efficiency and safety, enhancing cleanliness, fortifying public security, combating homelessness, and ensuring the city’s governance is both rigorous and efficient.

“Montrealers are yearning for change in how our city operates. We aim to streamline processes and make everyday tasks, such as housing and transportation, more accessible and affordable,” emphasized Martinez Ferrada. “Our administration will champion the community’s needs, from tackling housing challenges to ensuring our neighborhoods are clean and secure. Let’s reignite Montreal’s vibrancy and pave the way for a bright future where residents can dream big once more.”

As the countdown to the elections begins, Montrealers are gearing up to cast their votes on Nov. 2, eager to steer the city towards a promising new chapter.
