Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a traffic accident in Mississauga on early Monday morning, where a car and a motorcycle collided.
The incident took place in the Britannia vicinity, close to the intersection of Kennedy Road and Coopers Avenue around 6:30 a.m.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual was taken to a nearby hospital with severe injuries, although they are not considered life-threatening.
Further information regarding the crash has not yet been disclosed.
As a result of the collision, the northbound lanes on Kennedy Road have been shut down at Watline Avenue, while traffic on the southbound lanes has been restricted to just one lane.
Motorists can still access Kennedy Road South via Traders Boulevard.
