Tragic End on the Road: Motorcyclist Perishes After Ejection from Bike in Château-Richer

Tragedy struck on Tuesday afternoon as a motorcyclist lost his life in a fatal accident on Route 138 near Château-Richer in the Capitale-Nationale region. The incident occurred when the rider was ejected from his motorcycle while navigating a bend.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., emergency services responded to a collision involving a motorcycle on Sainte-Anne Blvd., as confirmed by Camille Savoie, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec. Reports indicate that the motorcyclist, traveling in the westbound direction, lost control of his vehicle for reasons that are still under investigation.

Subsequently, the rider reportedly collided with the guardrail on the central reservation before being thrown from the motorcycle. Tragically, the individual was pronounced dead at the accident site.

Authorities are currently present at the scene to ascertain the factors contributing to the incident and its surrounding circumstances. In response to the accident, Route 138 was temporarily shut down to traffic in the early evening.
