Breaking: MLA Elenore Sturko Ousted from BC Conservative Caucus, Insider Reveals

The BC Conservative Party has removed Surrey-Cloverdale MLA Elenore Sturko from its caucus, according to a source familiar with the matter. Sturko’s expulsion is reportedly linked to allegations of attempting to mobilize opposition against BC Conservative leader John Rustad during a crucial leadership review.

Sturko, who initially entered office in a 2022 by-election under the BC Liberals (now known as BC United) before securing her current position in the 2024 provincial election, had made the switch to the BC Conservatives prior to last year’s provincial election.

In her role as the BC Conservatives’ Critic for Public Safety and Solicitor General, Sturko has been a prominent figure within the party.

When contacted for a statement, Elenore Sturko did not immediately respond to 1130 NewsRadio’s request.
