Toronto Man Stabbed Defending His Car from Thieves in Daring Confrontation

In a late-night incident in Toronto’s west end, a man was stabbed when he confronted two suspects who were allegedly attempting to steal a vehicle from a driveway. The unsettling event took place at approximately 3:30 a.m. on a Tuesday in the vicinity of Dufferin Street and Rogers Road. According to investigators, the two male suspects were caught in the act of trying to make off with the vehicle when the homeowner or resident intervened.

Reportedly, one of the suspects resorted to violence, stabbing the man, before both individuals made a hasty escape on foot. Fortunately, the attempted vehicle theft was thwarted, as the suspects fled the scene empty-handed. Although the victim sustained injuries from the attack, Toronto police assured the public that they are non-life-threatening.
