Subway Service Disrupted on Line 2: St. George to Woodbine Stations
Subway service on a significant portion of Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) has been halted due to an incident at track level, as confirmed by transit authorities.
The service suspension, which occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, affects travel between St. George and Woodbine stations.
To accommodate affected passengers, shuttle buses are being dispatched. Commuters looking to continue their journey on Line 2 can access these shuttle buses at Bloor and Yonge or at Bloor and Bedford near St. George station, according to the TTC’s announcement on social media.
In addition, the TTC has advised riders to consider utilizing GO Transit services, which will be available at a TTC fare cost from GO stations in proximity to Main Street and Dundas West Stations.
At present, the exact timeframe for the resumption of service along the impacted segment of Line 2 remains undisclosed.
