Montreal Police Investigate Stabbing Incident After Road Altercation
Montreal police are currently conducting an investigation following a stabbing incident that occurred during a road altercation in the city’s Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough on Tuesday evening. The incident unfolded around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Crémazie Blvd. and Papineau Avenue, where a 45-year-old man sustained injuries to his upper body from a sharp object.
Reports indicate that a dispute erupted between two drivers at the intersection of Sauvé and Berri streets, leading to the subsequent stabbing. The victim was discovered on Crémazie Blvd. and promptly transported to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, the man’s injuries are not life-threatening, as confirmed by the SPVM to CityNews on Wednesday morning.
As the investigation continues, no arrests have been made thus far. The authorities are actively looking into the matter to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
