A tragic accident in Ajax claims the life of a 33-year-old man after a collision between a motorcycle and a car.
Durham Regional Police Service responded to the incident at the intersection of Taunton Road East and Middlecote Drive on Wednesday evening around 8:40 p.m. The collision occurred when a motorcycle traveling east on Taunton collided with a Honda Accord at the crossing.
Tragically, the motorcyclist lost his life at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, paramedics attended to the driver and passenger of the Honda, who sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the crash to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
