Toronto Police Arrest Man for Allegedly Making Threats Against Muslim Community
Toronto police have apprehended a man in connection with a series of threatening messages aimed at the Muslim community. Between July 26 and Sept. 15, 2025, the accused, identified as 61-year-old David Halverson of Toronto, allegedly posted several menacing messages. He now faces charges of uttering death threats and making indecent communications.
“This investigation is being handled as a suspected hate-motivated offense,” stated a police release.
The allegations against Halverson have not been proven in court yet.
