Tragic Tee-Off: Stouffville Man Fatally Shot on Wisconsin Golf Vacation

A tragic incident has claimed the life of a 32-year-old man from Stouffville while he was on a golf trip in Wisconsin. The family of Mike Robinson, who had recently become a father to a six-week-old baby girl, is devastated by the loss and seeking answers.

Mike was enjoying a golf outing with his in-laws and had even scored a hole-in-one that day. The group decided to end the day at a bar to celebrate. On their way back to the hotel, they approached a food delivery driver for a ride, but the situation took a tragic turn when shots were fired.

His brother, Jake Robinson, tearfully explained that an SUV drove by and fatally shot Mike, who passed away in his brother-in-law’s arms. The shooting occurred in Sheboygan Falls, located about an hour north of Milwaukee on Lake Michigan.

The Sheboygan Falls Police Department responded to the incident, where they found a man with a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, he could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene. The preliminary investigation suggests that the victim was shot by an unidentified person driving a small dark-colored SUV, with the motive behind the shooting remaining unclear.

Jake Robinson expressed his deep grief and shared fond memories of his brother, highlighting his positive traits and the love he received from those around him. The family is determined to bring Mike back home to honor his memory.

Global Affairs Canada has acknowledged the tragic death of a Canadian citizen in Wisconsin and is working with local authorities to gather more information and provide support to the grieving family.
