The Employer Negotiation Committee has been granted the authority to mediate between the APTS union and Santé Québec regarding delayed payments of premiums to health and social services professionals.
Following a successful request, the Administrative Labour Tribunal has approved the Employer Negotiation Committee’s intervention in the dispute between APTS and Santé Québec. This committee will now have the ability to actively participate in the case alongside Santé Québec, including presenting arguments, calling witnesses, raising objections, and conducting cross-examinations.
The core issue at hand revolves around a complaint filed by APTS against Santé Québec, citing delays in the disbursement of bonuses owed to numerous healthcare and social services employees.
In a significant development, Administrative Judge Henrik Ellefsen has commenced the hearings on this matter, with proceedings expected to continue over the next few months.
