Breaking News: Minister Caroline Proulx Temporarily Steps Down – Details Inside

Minister Caroline Proulx has announced that she will be taking a temporary break from her political duties to mourn the recent loss of her mother. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, she expressed the need to step back from the fast-paced world of politics in order to properly grieve and regroup.

“A few months ago, I lost my mother suddenly and tragically. Amidst the whirlwind of political responsibilities, I have not had the opportunity to fully process this loss,” Minister Proulx wrote on Wednesday evening. “Therefore, I have made the decision to take a few weeks off to pause, reflect, and find my center.”

Caroline Proulx, who currently holds the position of Minister for Seniors and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women following a recent cabinet reshuffle, has a background as the Minister of Tourism.

During her absence, her colleague Lionel Carmant, the Minister responsible for Social Services, will be overseeing her portfolios, ensuring that the government’s commitment to seniors and women remains unwavering.
