The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) faced technical difficulties with their Primary Inspection Kiosks, leading to disruptions at various airports nationwide, including a temporary impact on Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
YVR confirmed that the issue was successfully resolved by 9:45 a.m., ensuring that flights are running on schedule.
Over in Toronto, Pearson International Airport also grappled with the outage, affecting operations at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Passengers were advised to anticipate longer wait times than usual.
As of now, there is no specific timeline for when the problem will be fully resolved in Toronto.
CBSA addressed the situation on social media, stating, “We are actively collaborating with our partners to rectify the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”
