Massive $85K Liquor Heist Busted in GTA: Four Arrested, Illicit Drugs Seized

Authorities have apprehended four individuals from Mississauga who are facing a slew of charges following the dismantling of an alleged theft ring that targeted liquor and merchandise worth over $85,000 in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Halton police, along with LCBO investigators, collaborated in uncovering this organized criminal operation.

The Halton Regional Police Service, along with the LCBO’s Resource Protection Unit, launched an investigation in August 2025 after a string of thefts at LCBO stores and other retail establishments. Through a meticulous two-month inquiry, the group was connected to 54 separate incidents dating back to May. Their targets extended beyond liquor stores to include retailers like Home Depot, Dollarama, Value Village, and Metro outlets.

On October 1, authorities apprehended the four suspects in Oakville. Upon searching their vehicle, law enforcement discovered 31 grams of cocaine, 17 grams of MDMA, and 183 hydromorphone capsules. It was revealed that all four individuals were already on judicial release for prior theft-related offenses.

Christopher Noel, 39, faces a litany of charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, theft over $5,000, theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained through crime, and multiple counts of failing to comply with legal orders and probation.

Crystal King, 40, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, theft under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime.

Philip Young, 48, faces charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained through crime, and failure to comply with probation.

Marc Martiniello, 33, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

All four suspects have been detained for bail hearings, as the investigation continues to unfold.
