The trial of a former Hydro-Québec employee charged with economic espionage on behalf of China has been postponed due to the utility’s request to keep certain sensitive information confidential. Yuesheng Wang, 38, is facing charges related to sharing commercial secrets with Chinese entities, including a university and research centers. The trial delay was announced as Hydro-Québec sought to protect its business interests during legal proceedings. Wang, who worked in a technology development center at the utility, has denied the allegations against him.
