A person riding an electric bike was injured in a collision with a vehicle on Monday evening in Scarborough, as reported by Toronto police.
The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. close to the intersection of Morningside Avenue and Staines Road, slightly above Highway 401.
The individual operating the e-bike suffered severe injuries and was swiftly taken to a trauma center by paramedics.
Authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle stayed at the location, and law enforcement is currently conducting an inquiry into the matter.
