Toronto Speedster Busted: Man’s Wild Highway Run Ends, Licence Suspended Since ’85

A 60-year-old man from Toronto is in hot water after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) caught him speeding on Highway 407 in Burlington, despite his driver’s licence being suspended for the past four decades.

The man was pulled over by the Highway Enforcement Team for driving at a speed of 144 km/h. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that his licence had been suspended since 1985.

OPP officials disclosed that the man has a troubling history, with 20 prior convictions for driving without a valid licence. Additionally, he was discovered to have an outstanding warrant, leading to his transfer to Halton Regional Police after the traffic stop.

Subsequently, the man is now facing a slew of further traffic-related charges.
