A man from Brampton, aged 49, has been arrested and charged with four counts related to an alleged child luring case. Investigators revealed that the accused used various social media platforms to communicate with young victims in an attempt to entice individuals under the age of 16 for sexual purposes.
The Peel Regional Police launched an investigation in April 2025 and identified the man using the aliases “Carloperes24,” “Ongoingreltinsp,” and “Married4ong.”
49-year-old Carlos Barros De MendonicaPeres was taken into custody on Thursday, October 2, and has been charged with luring a child under 16 years old. He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing.
Authorities suspect that there might be additional victims who were contacted by the accused individual online.
