In Scarborough on Tuesday night, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, leading to a reported collision at Pharmacy Avenue and Knightsbridge Road shortly before 11 p.m.
The Toronto police responded to the scene, where a man sustained serious injuries, although they are not life-threatening, and was promptly transported to the hospital.
As a result of the incident, traffic disruptions are in place: Pharmacy Avenue is shut down in both directions between Knightsbridge and Hollydene Road, while Knightsbridge Road is blocked off between Pharmacy Avenue and Karnwood Drive.
