Montreal Fugitive Pierry Philogène Captured in B.C.: Among Canada’s Top 25 Most Wanted

Pierry Philogène, a key figure in a high-profile investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, was apprehended in Surrey, B.C., on Wednesday night. The 39-year-old fugitive was wanted for first-degree murder related to a 2021 incident and had been listed on the Bolo Program’s compilation of Canada’s most sought-after individuals.

Following tips from the public, Vancouver Police successfully detained Philogène, who is now set to be extradited to Montreal to face legal proceedings.

The collaborative effort known as Projet Alliance, which targets organized crime and its associated violence, has already resulted in significant arrests, including that of alleged Montreal mob boss Leonardo Rizzuto. However, with Philogène now in custody, attention turns to the remaining four suspects still evading capture: Sacha Krolik, Mario Sollecito, Gianpietro Tiberio, and Jean-Ismel Zéphir. Authorities urge the public to come forward with any pertinent information that could aid in locating these individuals.
