Montreal Metro’s Blue Line to Expand with Five New Stations Announcement
Montreal is set to reveal the names of the five new metro stations being added to the Blue Line, a major mobility project for eastern Montreal. Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante will make the anticipated announcement today at 11 a.m.
Joining Mayor Plante will be key figures including Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Société de transport de Montréal, Éric Alan Caldwell, Minister Chantale Rouleau, and Member of Parliament Éric St-Pierre.
The new stations, situated east of the Saint-Michel station along a six-kilometer tunnel, will feature two bus terminals, an underground pedestrian tunnel, and a mezzanine pedestrian link.
