An incident in the Wallace-Emerson area sent a woman to the hospital following a collision with a vehicle.
Emergency responders were quick to the scene at Lansdowne and Lappin avenues, responding to the call just before 4 p.m.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the accident with a vehicle. Fortunately, the driver stayed at the scene to assist authorities.
As a result of the incident, traffic has been redirected with northbound Lansdowne closed south of Lappin Avenue and southbound Lansdowne closed north of Lappin Avenue.
