Montrealers can expect traffic disruptions as construction work in Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels will partially close two major streets in downtown Montreal until May 18.
Two out of three lanes on Viger Avenue West will be closed between Clark and Côté Streets will be closed from 10 p.m. on April 26 to 5 a.m. on May 18.
One of the two lanes on St-Urbain Street will be closed between De la Gauchètiere West Street and Viger Avenue West from 10 p.m. on April 26 to 5 a.m. on May 18. The bike path will remain open.

Quebec’s transport ministry says the closures are necessary to replace utility lines as part of the renovation of the overpass on St-Urbain Street, above Route 136.
The ministry says construction could take longer or be rescheduled if the weather conditions are not favourable.
Commuters are asked to call 511 or use the Québec 511 mobile app and enable notifications for updates.
