Two men shot in Surrey early Sunday morning

Just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning, Surrey Police Services (SPS) was called to the Chevron gas station between 70 Avenue and 72 Avenue at 152 Street.

Police found two men suffering from gun shot wounds.

Emergency medical aid was performed, and the two men were transported to hospital aby BCEHS, where they remain in critical condition.

SPS’s Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation and police will be examining the scene for physical and digital evidence.

The intersection of 72 Avenue and 152 Street remain closed and will remain so while police investigate.

There is no suspect information is currently available but the incident is not believed to be extortion related.

SPS is asking any witnesses, anyone who may have been in the area at the time and has dashcam footage, or if you live in or own a business in the area and have CCTV footage to contact SPS.
