Montreal police looking for potential victims of man who allegedly sexually assaulted minors

Montreal police are looking for potential victims of a 72-year-old man who has been accused of producing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

SPVM says Daniel Rochefort was taken into custody on May 7 in connection with an investigation into child pornography.

Police allege that Rochefort used social media platforms Snapchat and Instagram to contact minors between 2007 and 2026. It is believed that he used the following aliases:

Rochefort has been described as 1.73 metres tall, weighing 77 kg, with white hair and blue eyes.

Police note that he was charged with luring and producing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, sexual assault, sexual contact, and invitation to sexual contact.
