The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) is on the scene of a crash on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Whatcom Road and South Parallel Road.
Police say that the incident involves a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle.
The crash appears to have happened just after 2 p.m.
The intersection remains closed in all directions.
“AbbyPD patrol officers are currently on scene of a serious collision,” the department said in a written statement.

Police add that the intersection is expected to remain shut down for several hours.
Traffic is impacted coming off Highway 1 eastbound at Whatcom Road.
The on-ramp is still active, but southbound traffic at Whatcom Road is blocked.
Police are urging drivers to avoid the area.
